Why we use it, and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and giving you a price | Steps taken at your request before entering a contract |
| Booking, confirming and carrying out the clean | Performance of a contract |
| Reminders about your appointment | Performance of a contract |
| Keeping records of work done and payments | Legal obligation and legitimate interests |
| Marketing messages about offers and seasonal reminders | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Using photographs of your appliances in our advertising | Your consent, asked for separately at the time |
| Measuring how our adverts perform | Legitimate interests, and your consent for cookies |
Text messages
If you enquire, we will text you about that enquiry. That is us answering you, not marketing.
If you agreed to hear about offers, we may also send occasional marketing texts. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop immediately. We only send between 9am and 8pm.
Photographs
We take before and after photographs of the appliances we clean. We ask before we take them, and we ask again before using any of them in advertising. Photographs show appliances, not people, and we never publish anything that identifies your home or address. If you have said yes and change your mind, tell us and we will remove them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with suppliers who help us run the business, and only so far as they need it:
- GoHighLevel — our booking and messaging system, which stores your contact details and our conversation
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — where you contact us through a lead form, and for advertising measurement
- Our own team — the cleaner attending your job sees your name, address and what needs cleaning
- Professional advisers, insurers, or the authorities — where we are required to
Some of these suppliers are based outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that never became a booking | 6 months, then deleted |
| Customer records and job history | 6 years after the last job, for tax and insurance |
| Marketing consent records | Until you withdraw consent, then a record that you withdrew it |
| Photographs used in advertising | Until you ask us to remove them |
Cookies
